Visiting the website
Our hosting provider, Netlify, processes technical request data such as your IP address, the page requested, the time and browser information to deliver and protect the website. Our basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). We do not maintain a separate visitor database.
When you contact us
We use the details you send through the contact form, email or LinkedIn to respond and discuss possible work. The form requires your email address and message; your name is optional. It also records the selected language, submission time and technical data used to prevent abuse, such as your IP address. The basis is steps taken at your request before a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), or our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries and protecting the form (Article 6(1)(f)). Providing your details is voluntary, but we cannot process a form enquiry without an email address and message. Submitting the form does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
Retention and service providers
If no engagement follows, we keep enquiry correspondence for up to 12 months after the last exchange, unless it is needed longer for a legal claim. This period also applies to copies of form submissions in Netlify. We keep records of an engagement for the applicable statutory periods. Netlify hosts the website; Netlify Forms receives and stores form submissions, filters spam and sends email notifications. Our business email provider handles email, and LinkedIn handles messages sent there. These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under appropriate safeguards; contact us for details.
Cookies and external links
The website does not use visitor analytics, advertising cookies or tracking pixels. The contact form uses no third-party CAPTCHA. Email and LinkedIn links open the relevant external service when you select them.
Your rights
You may ask us for access to, correction or deletion of your data, restriction of processing, or object to processing. Data portability applies where its conditions are met. Contact us using the address above. You may also complain to the Slovenian Information Commissioner. We do not use automated decisions or profiling.
